♫ Dear Vox,

It's been over a year since my last blog~ =.= And it's gonna take me some time to get used to TypePad's facilities~ Today, Gratitude Log make me very happy, am very eager to make good use of it~ Oh, I bought a secondhand 30Gb iPod Video for only RM150; am giving to my brother for his birthday later in the day~ =) ♫

I had my maiden polished fingernails~

Dear Vox,

Yesterday, I bought a nail polish: OPI 'Russian Navy' from Colour Culture~ It looks like dark blue~ And yes, I had coloured fingernails, for the first time ever~

It was a natural calling~ Still have it on now, will remove it tomorrow morning~

Guess what, a friend helped me apply, but it was too much & was done under the fan~ So, the surface was dotty & uneven~ And I forgot to apply a base coat~ My fingertips has been going on a receptive mode ever since, tingling most of the time, telling me that they can't breath well, being covered by a layer of coloured chemical~ But I like this new aesthetic make-up, first time ever for me~ Am gonna put on this extra accessories when I do piano performance or giving Tarot card readings~

Oh, OPI nail polish was expensive, but okay lah if just to mark my maiden experience~

I was at Federal Hotel yesterday morning, giving support to a former school choir student who's auditioning for Astro Quest Talent~ Met other former students & friends~ Yuin Yun, Erika Chong, Joe Chao, Whisky Liew & Ryan Tan~ Let me just say that this whole audition thingy was an Asshole Tandas saga~ Yeah, first time going vulgar in my vox blog~ What can I say . . .

The audition process was weird & fishy~ Judges were hidden behind a mirror where the candidates were facing to sing~ I was told that many people didn't even get to sing one phrase~ What instantly comes to mind are the full of crap, politicised, rigged, not professional at all usual usual same old stories~ Poor organisation, not a single chairs for the young hopefuls~ I felt that the organisers treated the young talents like guinea pigs~ Never inform people that they need to bring their rules & regulation forms during taking numbers queue & force people to queue up all over again~ I was told that some people paid the judges whoever they are RM500 & they got through the first round~

Drinking During Daytime~

Dear Vox,

I drank today~ Two pints of Guinness & some Heineken for St. Patrick's Day~ It's the first time I drank from daytime till the night, thanks to Reuben, my soon to be new employer~ That's not a lot for regular drinkers, but it's more than what my body system can tolerate~ From WIP in Bangsar Shopping Centre, we adjourned to an Irish pub called Sids in TTDI~ I had steak & kidney pie for dinner~ Wicked but nice dish~

Burp . . . sober sober . . . . . .

The day before, I spent some time with Lenny, my dear old friend~ He gave me some good sincere encouragement & advice~ Thank you, Lenny~ You can still give me your  usual Stephen Chow Sing Chi's nonsense & mou lei tao~ Bring it on~

I cut short my mom's phone call today~ If there is one thing my good old patient self cannot tolerate, that would be my mom's voice~ Will need to work on that thoroughly . . . . . .

Am going to start writing Light Language Grids for every single person whom I sincerely love & sayang in this present life, including my mom . . .

Dear Vox,

Jaya 33 Bazaar had been moderately fun for me~ Most memorable readings were the stubborn local male & an Iranian female student~ I spent more time giving encouraging energies to them than I should, but oh well, for my selflessness credit~ Master Nancy's presence made a lot of difference, haha~! ;D

This whole week will be fill with lots of self-studies, a cappella arrangements & some planning work~ Am also working on my website~ And then I have my back-to-basic piano regime; as I am reprogramming my fingers muscle memory~ 

I miss my Kyokushin Karate training dearly lah~ Miss all the bruises & pains~ My daily handstand, finger & knuckle push-up sets, one hour of stretching, strengthening exercises, Ikken, meditation makes the longing grow fonder~

It is time for me to separate Mommy & Hiro's two joeys~ But that would mean less sleep for me~ :S

Hiro is really a good suggie father & Mommy seem to be hungry all the time~

Latika has been quiet of late~ In lazy mood like me gua, I guess~

Let's write letters again~

Dear Vox,

Morning, It's cold & wet outside now~ Gonna workout a bit to keep warm~ Let's talk about my sugar glider family~ I have put young Zulaikha together with Stripey~ They both like each other~ I guess it's meant to be since they already felt each other's presence a few months ago~ Am gonna separate the four young suggies soon & bond with them~

Oh yah, I have 10 sugar gliders~  Been bonding with them since late 2003, starting from Tobiyama the first~ They are marsupial beings, the females have pouches to carry their young, they are nocturnal & arboreal, they have membrane skins like flying squirrels & they can glide-jump-run, they have faces like bat, they are very intelligent and they can live up to 15 years~

Ever since I gave my dad Reiki attunement, he has put on weight~ He looks better than before but he has this joint inflammation disease~ And I have not seen him since last August~ I should call dad more often~

I have been meditating regularly; doing Orin & Daben's Light Body Awakening meditations, where I run through these new energies within my inner self, and Reiki meditation, where I mostly work on my chakras with the Reiki Master Symbol to fine-tune myself physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually~

I miss writing letters~~~ Choosing a nice piece of paper & drawing things unto them to impress the recipient, pasting stamps with your saliva & queuing at the post office buying stamps . . .

E-mails are just not the same~ You wanna feel the real envelope & paper texture and smell it, receiving interesting stamps, observing people's handwriting, and also the waiting anticipation . . .

Let's look for someone to write then~ Oh, I know~! I wanna write to Liz who lives in Equador & Nahoko from Japan~

I am going to re-train my piano playing hands~ For two weeks as a start, I will be doing just five fingers exercise & nothing else~ Need to re-program the muscle memory, bones & fleshes, DNA~ Back to innocence~

Today, I shall bring my black obsidian crystal buddy with me outside~

I like to do handstand~

Dear Vox,

Jaya 33 Bazaar brings much needed relief~~~ There's nice people & the surrounding's energies is so so but gentle~ 

I have been getting frequent remarks from people saying my energy level is very high, or they can feel my presence being very strong~ I will need to tone down a bit, exude more gentleness & stately presence~ Too strong may not always be good~

There is one thing I'm fond of doing: HANDSTAND~ Everyday, I will stand on my hand for at least 1 minute or more~ But now, I'm doing at least 3 minutes~ It is a very good form of exercise~ Handstand position is a fundamental thing in gymnastic, capoiera, break-dance, modern dance, yoga, martial arts . . . For me, I love this position cause' it felt as if I am holding Mother Earth from a new view~ It gives a unique enlightening & refreshing perspective of things around you~ I will talk more on the philosophy of handstand in another post~

I should really watch Nabihan's theatre show tonight, since I have never get to watch any of her stage performance~

Looks like Genting's next chapter is arriving soon; but I'm not sure whether if I want to proceed~ I believe I have abundance of choices~ I am a Master of my own destiny~ So, I shall create more choices of my liking~~~

Pssst . . . Genting are well-knowned for being last minute & stingy boss~ But the money is good~

Opus Tiga~

Dear Vox,

I have to say that Asiacafe Bazaar is . . . forgettable~ =.=

But, on a good note . . . . . . I finally met up with Syao Tung meimei~! Back in 1994, I taught her piano & theory classes briefly~ I was 16, she was 5~ We never communicate again until one two years ago, when we somehow got connected through Friendster~ Gosh, she is standing right in front of my face & I am still imagining her being 5 years old~! =S

Anyway . . . I wonder how many people still use Cakewalk recording software? I still do, damn lame~ But it does the job for simple recording work~ And I record a simple track of "Food, Glorious Food" for Shantini's Fusion junior class~ 

Perhaps, I should arrange a barbershop version for Jian Wen, Whisky, Maggi & myself singing it~

Oh, it seems that Latika is meow-ing less today~ I should really get her neutered, but it's so unnatural~

I have been listening to Olivia Newton-John's "Grace And Gratitude" CD Album lately~ Very inspiring & timeless~ Right now, I am listening to Pierre Fournier's rendition of J.S.Bach's 6 Cello Suites, Deustche Grammophon's 1961 recording~ His is one of my favourite version~

Second Opus~

Dear Vox,

Halo, tis' my second proper post over here~ Yesterday's Glam Street Flea Market was very good~ I did 19 readings~ Met interesting people along the way~ I also got to know an old friend's meimei~ Halo, Sabrina Chan~! Hope you're doing well in Singapore~! ;D

But Laila's Cafe endeavour tak jadi; I was late & no crowd~ And I ended up playing piano & singing~ Izad sang too, haha~

My dearest cat, Latika, is going through her horny period~ I felt bad for her constant meow-ing~ Really gotta take her for neutering, unwillingly~~~

I have been collecting handwriting samples from many people recently, practising on my graphology analysis work~ Am gonna put this skill to good use very soon~

Am gonna feed my sugar glider families shortly, record a song for Shantini, & read Wu Wei's I Ching book~

1st blog, opus 1, maiden post, yada yada yada . . .

I am going to start blogging for real~ Gonna use this platform to release my mental thoughts & emotions & let it flow, phase, shift, transcend as naturally as my conscience allow me to~

I realise that there are many Vox's features that I need to sort out so that it look decent~ Will work on that during one of my solitary nights~

It's 7:30am now, tis' a cold morning cause' of the rain~ I will be doing Tarot card readings for most of the day at Glam Street Flea Market, Terrace, near SAYFOL International School & Hock Choon Store~ After that, will move over to Laila's Cafe for another round of readings with Master Nancy & Sensei Izad~ Oh, they are both, respectively good BaZi Consultant & Graphologist/Law Of Attraction Guru~

I think I will bring all my four Tarot deck buddies, my Goddess Oracle & Miracle Cards~ Never really use the Art Nova & New Renaissance deck & not sure why~ But am gonna build the relationship & rapport now~

Alright, am gonna do my Light Body Awakening meditation~
